SYNOPSIS

Momeya is a no-dialogue short film set in a past time, of an imaginary world inspired by mythical, mystical creatures and folklore stories.

The story follows a vengeful Water Goddess who washes ashore after an attack from earthbound men. On land, she sees a girl, Letu and is instantly infatuated with her. The Water Goddess watches the girl in anticipation of their first encounter. The story unfolds, birthing a different tale for the earthbound girl.
